First let me start by saying I am a firm believer in " Pretty is as Pretty Does"

If you do not act "pretty" you will NEVER be seen as pretty.

I plan on dedicating an entire post to why I choose the name Designed Inside & Out,

but for today I will focus on the "out"

I am in the process of Sassying up this blog and adding a personal touches,

 so until that is marked off the Blog To-Do List I thought I would give you a sneak peak at ME!

Exciting , right? Ha!

Me on a Normal Day

I have a specific order I get ready in.

It rarely changes and when I do alter one aspect of it I feel "OFF" all day!

I am awful about taking off my make-up at night ( I know, I know this is something I must get better at)

I use Cliques's Comforting Cream Cleanser

For years I used Equates's ( Wal-Mart Brand ) Creamy Facial Cleanser

I loved that stuff, however very few Wal-Mart's carry it, I look at every Wal-Mart I go to a new one !

On the tube is says " Compare to Neutrogena" but because of my sensitive skin the Neutogena does not work for me.

It's odd that the Equate and Clique version's seem to be the only ones I can use!

I'll be honest I useally just stop with the remover and not use a face wash, but when I do I use Cetaphil.

or Clinique's Bar Soap

As far as body wash and shaving gel store brads work just as well for me!

I do always buy Dove bar soap, it just has such a clean smell!

 

As for my hair

I only use Biolage Normalizing Shampoo!

It is a little pricey but it really works for my hair and keeps it less oiley!

It last FOREVER and you can often get buy one get one free if you watch for sales!

As for conditionar I have use Biolage for quite some time but have recently tried Tesemme since I have been using a new leave in conditionar ( I will give you the name later)

When I get out of the shower I:

Apply some type of lotion, I am not picky I just want one with a nice clean smell with not much of a scent.

My new secret was a Christmas gift from my Dear Friend LeLe

It's a leave in conditionar, that has made this curly hair straight with little work and NO damage!

It has also made my hair grow at a fast rate the last 2 months.

It is called UPDATE - protein treatment.

I searched the web and could not find it, I know she bought it from her hair dresser.

It is also great to spay on your nails!

I have used

which was a little $$ but really worked well ( not as well as UPDATE)

I was in a pinch once and bought this

which worked just as well as the above and the .35 oz lasted a long time.

At this point I NEED to add some type of volumeizing something but currently not.

Any suggestions?

I also seperate my hair in three sections at this point getting it ready to dry

Then I use Cliques's #3 Tonor.

It really makes my face feel clean!

Once or twice a week I will use Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion.

I LOVE Bare Minerals Prime Time Oil Control!

I let my face "rest" for a little bit this is when I :

brush my teeth

What is your best whiting toothpaste?

Then back to the hair to start drying it!

There is only ONE brush I use

Touche By Spornette 118-XL

I could sell these things door to door if I had to, I have converted many people to this brush!

I blow dry a section at a time and straighter each section as I go.

I use a GVP straightner ( Sally's version of Chi)

I'm certain there are better straightners on the market but it works ok so I just stay with it.

After I blow dry my bottom layer then I do make up ( I can not stand to do make up with my hair in my face)

under my eyes and on my lips

It really helps keep my lipstick on!

I use Jane Iredale

It is much less messy than Bare Minerals

I also use her cream eye liner

My eyes are VERY sensitive and the eye liner has proven to be very gentle.

I then use some type of white/ ivory eyeshadow close to my eye brow.

I follow it with a gold shimmer powder under my arch,

the BEST I have ever used is BON BON, I think it is .98 cents at Wal -Mart!

Blush:Studio Gear / Crush ( which appears to be discontinued )

At this point I decide if I will darken my eyes and make them smokey or not, if it is a YES day then I get started!

I will go over my dark brown eye liner with Lavish Mink ( very dark brown) eye shadow by Estee Lauder

In the crease of my eye I apply a little of the Lavish Mink and go over it with

Gold Dust ( dark purple) eyeshadow from Ulta.

When my face is done I go back to my hair routine.

When I "poof aka the rat and pat", I use myTouche By Spornette  114

and then of for the grand hair finale!

I have always put my mascara and lip stick on last

I use Clinique's

and for my go to go with EVERYTHING

Automatic Lip Pencil in Chestnut

and Pure Colot Tiger Eye Lipstick!

After searching through all of the other Blogs I have a list of  TO Pick-Up Items!
